Operational Support Team

Kristofer Coombs

Chief Talent Officer
inVentiv Health

Kristofer Coombs drives the talent management initiative across all divisions of inVentiv Health. His responsibilities in this role are to lead inVentiv's efforts to attract, retain and develop talent and manage succession planning.

Mr. Coombs joined inVentiv from Kao Brands, a $1 billion global consumer products company that markets brands such as Jergens, Curel, Bioré and John Frieda. He was a member of Kao's HR team (formerly Andrew Jergens Company) for more than 10 years, serving as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. While there, Mr. Coombs led the company's talent management program, managed integration efforts of mergers and acquisitions, led organizational restructuring, and developed and implemented strategic HR processes. Prior to Kao, he spent eight years in management roles at Employers Resource Association, a non-profit organization providing training and HR consulting to member companies.

Mr. Coombs holds a B.B.A. from Xavier University.

Marcia Frederick

Chief Communications Officer
inVentiv Health

As Chief Communications Officer, Marcia Frederick leads the public relations, marketing and internal communications efforts for inVentiv Health Inc. and drives strategic communications priorities for the company's four divisions.

Ms. Frederick joined GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv Health company, as a Public Relations Supervisor in 2000. In this role, she helped develop and launch the brand of GSW's parent company, inChord Communications. Ms. Frederick later became Vice President of Marketing and Communications at inChord Communications and led award-winning advertising, interactive and PR campaigns that helped the company to become recognized as one of the top healthcare communications organizations in the world. After inChord was acquired by Ventiv Health in 2005 and Ventiv rebranded itself, she managed the internal and external launch of the new inVentiv Health brand.

Prior to joining inChord, Ms. Frederick's experience included serving as an Account Manager at several Columbus-based advertising and public relations agencies including Edward Howard & Company, Baird Communications and Bates USA.

Marcia received her B.S. in communications from Miami University and earned Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.

Tricia Glover

Chief Compliance Officer
inVentiv Health

Tricia Glover is the Chief Compliance Officer for inVentiv Health, and also chairs the Corporate Compliance Committee, which is comprised of members from the inVentiv Commercial Services executive and senior leadership teams. In this role, Ms. Glover is charged with identifying ways in which inVentiv Health can offer efficient processes and programs that comply to PDMA and OIG guidelines both internally and externally. She is committed to providing comprehensive, solution-oriented services and results to both internal and external customers in accordance with the highest ethical principals and all applicable laws and regulations.

Ms. Glover brings over 22 years industry experience to inVentiv Health from prior sales, marketing and compliance positions from Teva Neuroscience, Pharmacia/Pfizer and Sanofi-Aventis.

Ms. Glover received her B.S. in Business Management from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.

Tristen Herrstrom

Chief Resource Officer
inVentiv Health

Tristen Herrstrom serves as Chief Resource Officer for inVentiv Health. She is responsible for all Human Resource functions, including recruitment services and benefits management within inVentiv Health, facilitating synergy in programs, policies, and practices across all divisions.

Ms. Herrstrom's human resource career has focused in the healthcare, hospitality and outsourcing industries for the past 11 years, coming to inVentiv Health in 1998, where she served as Human Resource Management with Hallmark Health. During her tenure with inVentiv, Ms. Herrstrom has contributed to the significant reduction in employee turnover through the establishment of retention programs, including a management development program, an enhanced employee referral program and employee recognition programs. Ms. Herrstrom has also improved the employee benefits package with the addition of new products, while managing costs incurred by both the company and the participants.

Ms. Herrstrom has a B.S. from The College of New Jersey and earned her M.S. Degree in Human Resource Counseling from Northeastern University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Healthcare Businesswoman's Association.

Tony Jerig

Chief Information Officer
inVentiv Health

Tony Jerig serves as Chief Information Officer for inVentiv Health and is responsible for providing the strategic technology vision for the company and aligning technology services to support business needs across all inVentiv Health divisions. He is involved in technology infrastructure, compliance, and application initiatives within the organization as relates to internal operations, including many client-facing services. Mr. Jerig has more than 20 years of industry experience and he has a track record of building dynamic high performing technology teams.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Jerig acted as Senior Vice President, Technology and Facility Services for inVentiv Communications. Previously, he served as Director of Technology for GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv Health company, and was Vice President of Technology for inChord Communications prior to its acquisition by inVentiv.

Mr. Jerig holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University. In 2002, he managed a team that won the Cisco Growing with Technology award in the category of Operational Excellence.

Peter Marchesini

Chief Learning Officer
inVentiv Health

With more than 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sales industry, Peter Marchesini joined inVentiv Health in November 2002 as Executive Director, Specialty Sales Group. Mr. Marchesini worked with a team of National Business Directors responsible for 16 clients. For over two years, he has taken on the role of Chief Learning Officer of inVentiv Health, overseeing inVentiv's Client Training & Development, Professional Development Group, and Corporate Training & Development.

Prior to inVentiv, Mr. Marchesini was the National Sales Director and Regional Medical Manager with Noven Pharmaceuticals, where he led a team that established and trained Noven's first sales force.

Mr. Marchesini earned a B.S from San Diego State University. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Certified Medical Representative Institute and was part of a team of training professionals associated with the American Red Cross Training Advisory Board. Mr. Marchesini has participated in panels and workshops for the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT), Pharmaceutical Executive Sales and Marketing Summit, and CBI's Pharmaceutical Training Summit.

Dan Twibell

Chief Client Development Officer
inVentiv Health

As Chief Client Development Officer for inVentiv Health, Dan Twibell leads global and strategic business development across the organization with a specific focus on developing integrated solutions that leverage service offerings involving multiple business units. He is also responsible for helping to define both current and prospective clients’ needs, matching those needs with the appropriate resources across inVentiv Health, and ensuring that the company’s efforts are fully aligned with our clients' expectations.

Before being named to his current role, Mr. Twibell served as Executive Vice President of CHS, an inVentiv Health company, managing the firm’s strategic consulting activities in the areas of product marketing, new product planning and business development. Prior to joining inVentiv Health (then known as inChord Communications) in 1999, Mr. Twibell held a variety of positions including general management, marketing, new product planning, business development, strategic planning and sales for companies including Larreacorp, Eli Lilly & Company and Adams Laboratories.

Mr. Twibell received his M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management and undergraduate degree from The University of Arizona.
